The Bexar County Dog Squad is a competitive 4-H dog club that focuses on learning all aspects of dog care and training with the emphasis on competing at the State Dog Show in July. All 4-H members with any type of dog are welcome to join. These workshops are open to all 4-H ages and are a learning series to help youth meet their required learning lessons in the veterinary science project. Some lessons will be in a classroom, but several lessons will be hands on. National Conference is a working conference where youth and adults assist in the development of recommendations to help guide 4-H Youth Development Programs nationally and in their communities. The program will be held in Chevy Chase, Maryland at the National 4-H Center with travel into Washington, DC. Dates for 2017 are March 25-30. Youth, ages 15-18, are eligible to apply. Applications are accepted in 4-H Connect through December 15. This camp (Jan. 6 – 8, 2017) is open to all youth in grades 8 - 12. Youth will learn about 4-H and leadership in educational workshops. Other activities include a team challenge, dance, and polar bear swim. For more information click here.

This camp (Jan. 13 – 15, 2017) is open to any youth that wants to learn more about sewing. Participants will be attending hands on educational workshops. No sewing experience required.
