During the Beekeeping Basics course, a hands-on field day to a beekeeper's yard will be included. Program participants will elect to attend one of two field days to be conducted on April 14 and 15. A bee suit will be provided. Field day times are weather dependent. Address and maps will be provided to registered participants. Locations are subject to change.
Dr. Larry Stein, Extension Horticulturist, will be conducting his Annual Grafting Seminar at Saturday, April 14, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Dr. Stein will demonstrate how and why fruit, nut, and citrus trees are grafted and will include several different grafting techniques.
