During the Beekeeping Basics course, a hands-on field day to a beekeeper's yard will be included. Program participants will elect to attend one of two field days to be conducted on April 14 and 15. Dr. Larry Stein, Extension Horticulturist, will be conducting his Annual Grafting Seminar at Saturday, April 14, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Dr. Stein will demonstrate how and why fruit, nut, and citrus trees are grafted and will include several different grafting techniques.
