An Agricultural Chemical Collection Event is planned for Friday, October 20, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Landowners in the counties of Bexar, Wilson, Karnes, and Goliad can bring their old, outdated, unusable ag chemicals to be disposed of -- free of charge -- and in complete confidentiality. Participants are encouraged to fill out an inventory form to register for the collection.

Topics will include updates on pesticide laws and regulations, Zika, livestock pests, minimizing drift and pesticide use. The program will offer 2 hours in L&R, 2 in IPM, and 1 in Drift. Bexar County 4-H youth will be given the opportunity to design a commemorative fiesta medal on behalf of the Bexar County 4-H program. Designs will be judged on their creativity & how well the medal represents 4-H & Fiesta! The winner’s design will be chosen as the 2018 Bexar County 4-H Fiesta Medal!
