The Earth-Kind Home Gardening Series will be conducted Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Bexar County Extension Office (3355 Cherry Ridge, Suite 208). The 10-session series will be conducted on selected Wednesdays from February 6 through June 19. Series topics will help participants to maximize their garden and landscape while preserving and protecting the environment. Cost is $75 for the entire series (10 sessions) or $15 per session, and online registration is required.

Information: District 10 has just announced it is hosting a Shooting Sports Coaches Certification Training for Archery, Muzzleloading, Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun in Guadalupe County on March 9-10, 2019. Registration will be done through 4-H Connect: Deadline to register is February 25, 2019. Cost is $120. Registration will cover meals and course materials. March 11-13 (Monday-Wednesday), 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. each day, will be the Spring Break Nature Camp for youth ages 6-11. The camp will be help at the Bexar County Extension Office (3355 Cherry Ridge, Suite 208). Cost is $100 and online registration is required. Your kids won’t want to miss this amazing camp! We will learn all about nature, including entomology, horticulture, agriculture, wildlife and herpetology from experts in those fields. Space is limited, and the camp fills up quickly, so register soon!
March 18 (Monday) a Food Handlers Permit Training will be conducted at the Bexar County Extension Office (3355 Cherry Ridge, Suite 208). Cost is $20 and pre-registration is requested by Friday, March 15, 2019.

March 22 (Friday) will be a Private Applicator License Training at the Bexar County Extension Office (3355 Cherry Ridge Street, Suite 208). Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. with the training to follow at 8:30 a.m. This training is for people who do not have a license to apply restricted use pesticides on their property or those who had a license that expired at least a year ago.
