Hill Country Junior Livestock Show has opened up to include Bexar County. At this time Bexar County exhibitors can only show a Registered Breeding Swine or Non-Pedigreed Breeding Swine or Registered Breeding Sheep. Show dates are Jan. 14th – 20th. November 24 & 25, 2017 in Seguin, Texas. Youth may enter the Friday evening single show and/or Saturday’s double show. These shows will draw many breeders from across the state that will have rabbits for sale. This is an opportunity for 4-H youth to experience the thrill of exhibiting rabbits beyond local County Show. The Food Handlers Permit Class is a basic overview of food safety practices that are necessary to ensure you serve safe food at your establishment. The Texas Department of State Health Services accredited food handlers program is now being offered at the Bexar County Office of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
