Fishing Camp

Participants will have the opportunity to learn everything they need to know about fishing in Texas waters, from creating lures to permit laws.  They will get to participate in their favorite events such as challenge course, dances and more.  Mark your calendar for July 25-27 at the 4-H Center in Brownwood.  Cost is $180/youth or $85/adult.  Registration is done at http://texas4hcenter.tamu.edu. If you will be exhibiting at the State Fair Show in Dallas, Sept. 30th – Oct. 23rd, entries are due to our office by Wednesday, August 17th.   Please complete the entry form, certification, release and indemnity agreement and the W-9 IRS form.  There are other contests available if interested (Public Speaking, Agricultural Science Fair, Livestock Judging, Ag. Livestock Judging

A Livestock Judging orientation meeting is planned for Thursday, August 25th 6:30 p.m. at the County 4-H  office in S-208.  If you have an interest in learning about livestock evaluation, basic terminology and oral reason preparation/delivery, make plans to attend.  Livestock judging teaches critical thinking, decision making and public speaking skills.  There are divisions for all ages so anyone is welcome to participate.

Bexar County Chickens (Broilers) Order – DUE
