2019 Brown Bag Lunch & Learn

Join us for the 2019 Brown Bag Lunch & Learn program to be conducted the 2nd Friday of each month, 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m., at the Bexar County Extension Office (3355 Cherry Ridge, Suite 208).  The sessions will provide horticulture information on consumer horticulture.  Sessions are FREE and no RSVP is required.

Master Wellness Volunteer Training

Fall and Winter Vegetable Gardening

Saturday, September 22, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon, will be a program on Fall and Winter Vegetable Gardening presented by David Rodriguez, Bexar County Extension Agent-Horticulture.  South Texas offers vegetable gardeners two great growing seasons each year, and milder fall temperatures bring out the best flavors in home-grown vegetables.  The program is FREE.  Bring a notebook; David Rodriguez will answer your specific gardening questions.

Planting a Spring Vegetable Garden

Learn how to plant a spring vegetable garden for you and your family by attending the Planting a Spring Vegetable Garden program, 7:00-8:30 p.m., at Blue Star Brewing Company (1414 S. Alamo, Ste. #105).  The program is FREE, and no registration is required. This program will provide 1.5 CEUs for Master Gardeners.
