July 25-27 (Wednesday, 12 Noon- 5 PM; Thursday, 9 AM - 5 PM, and Friday, 9 AM - Noon)- Come join us for the 2018 Junior Master Gardener (JMG) Adult Leader Training designed for teachers, educators, and volunteers in support of Youth Gardening. Participants will learn how to establish and sustain a youth garden, how to create a JMG program, receive training in the JMG curriculum, and obtain Continuing Professional Education Hours for the three-day training. Cost is $100; deadline to apply is July 20.

The Bexar, Caldwell, and Guadalupe County Extension Offices will host a 2018 Farm Bill Seed Cotton/Base Acres Decision Workshop at the Guadalupe County Office (210 E. Live Oak Street in Seguin). The workshop will be held on Monday, July 30, from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and will cover new language in the 2018 Farm Bill dealing with generic acres and cotton production which will require producers to make new choices for each tract with an FSA number by late summer.
