The 2019 Bexar County Beef Cattle Short Course, will be held January 8 & 15 (Tuesdays), from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., in the Ozuna Library on the Palo Alto College campus, 1400 Villaret Blvd., San Antonio. Cost will be $15.00 per session and pre-registration is requested. CEUs for Licensed Private Applicators are available; see flyer for details. The School Tours program gives young students and their teachers the opportunity to learn about the past and present methods of agriculture. School Tours are offered to students in Kindergarten through third grade attending public, private and home schools. High School aged students of the 4-H, FFA and FCCLA organizations from South Texas are invited each year to serve as Tour Guides for this committee. January 19 (Saturday) will be a Fruit Tree Basics Seminar, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, at Fanick's Garden Center (1025 Holmgreen Road, San Antonio).
