Join us for the 2018 Fall Youth Garden Educator Training on Saturday, September 15, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (check-in 8:30-9:00 a.m.) at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens at 555 Funston Place in San Antonio. This training is designed for teachers, educators, and volunteers in support of youth gardening in the classroom and community! Cost is $20; register online by 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 9. Saturday, September 22, from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon, will be a program on Fall and Winter Vegetable Gardening presented by David Rodriguez, Bexar County Extension Agent-Horticulture. South Texas offers vegetable gardeners two great growing seasons each year, and milder fall temperatures bring out the best flavors in home-grown vegetables. The program is FREE. Bring a notebook; David Rodriguez will answer your specific gardening questions.
