If you are 13 and older, you may be interested in becoming a School Tour Guide. Guides will tour small children around the stock show grounds during the San Antonio Stock Show in February 2018. Please Do Not sign up on a day that you will be exhibiting or competing in a contest. You will NOT be allowed to switch dates without a valued excuse. The Food Handlers Permit Class is a basic overview of food safety practices that are necessary to ensure you serve safe food at your establishment. The Texas Department of State Health Services accredited food handlers program is now being offered at the Bexar County Office of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Cost is $20, and the permit is good for two (2) years! See flyer for details.

This year many District Contests are being combined into a one weekend event at the Hill Country Youth Center, 3785 Highway 27, Kerrville, Tx. 78028.
