If you will be exhibiting a steer at the 2017 Bexar County and/or 2018 Major Stocks Shows, steers are required to be validated.  Validation tag order is due to our office by Thursday, April 13th.  Cost is $20.00 per head.   Late tags will be $40.00 each.  Order form is available here.     Steer validation dates, times and location will be announced shortly. There is a drop slot in the front door to help you meet this deadline.

If you will be exhibiting a goat or lamb at the 2016 State Fair of Texas stock show, animals require a validation tag to be put in its ear.  Tags are $20 each.  Validation tag orders will  be due to our office by Thursday, April 13th.  Order form is available here.  Validation date, time and location will be announced soon.

This contest will be held April 28th & 29th at the Boswell Porter 4-H Shooting Range in Snook, Texas.  Registration is now open in iClays.  Deadline is Friday, April 14th.  Registration information is available here.

National 4-H Congress is the flagship event of the National 4-H program held Nov. 23 – 28  in Atlanta, Georgia. We are seeking adults and youth ready to lead on our Robotics Task Force.  We need your energy and ideas! Bexar County is starting a County wide initiative to grow the Robotics project. Volunteers are needed to help promote 4-H and healthy eating and physical activity lifestyles in our community.  Event is Saturday, April 29th at Lockwood Park, from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.  This is a great way to show off your leadership skills and promote 4-H.  More information is available here.
