• Plant cool season flowers like petunias, dianthus, ornamental kale, phlox and Shasta daisies for color.
• Plant wildflowers in lightly cultivated and raked soil.
• Look for brown patch in your lawn. Treat with products containing terraclor.
• Continue to fertilize hanging baskets, hibiscus, bougainvillea, allamanda, mandevilla and other tropical plants.
