Installing an automatic sprinkler system instantly adds value to your home. If properly used and maintained, it will protect your gardening and landscaping investment while saving time and water.

To water your lawn efficiently, you need to provide the right amount of water. It must be evenly distributed in the right places, and at the right time.

Water your turfgrass early in the morning (before sunrise) when water pressure is at its greatest. Water evaporation is minimal, and the lawn utilizes the moisture most efficiently.

Do not make it a habit to water your turfgrass in the evening, because water will sit on the lawn and promote disease.

Do not water your turfgrass in the heat of the day, because the sun will evaporate the water before it can soak in, and burning of the grass blades may occur.
