• ! Recent rains save us from any lawn watering this week.
• ! Prune fruit trees.
• ! Apply pre-emergent herbicides to prevent crab grass, sand burs and other summer weeds.
• ! Plant broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and asparagus.
• ! Goldfinches begin to grow yellow summer plumage – remember to attract goldfinches to feeders with thistle seeds.
