BEXAR COUNTY  BY DAVID RODRIGUEZ

A simple way in conserving water is simply checking irrigation systems for proper performance. Run each station, and look for abnormalities. Call a licensed irrigation contractor to fix problems.

Keep winter weeds in check by grubbing, hand pulling or mowing.

Pre-emergent herbicides applied now through early March will help minimize the germination of unwanted spring and summer weeds.

Enhance your culinary desires by transplanting cold-tolerant herbs, such as chives, cilantro, dill, fennel, oregano, parsley, rosemary, sage and thyme.
