• Be sure outdoor plants are well watered. Cold weather can damage plants if they are too dry.
• Prune trees in your landscape now. Paint the cuts with latex paint, not pruning paint.
• Get cold frames ready for seedling vegetable and flowering transplants.
• Put your sprinkler system on “manual” mode for the remainder of the winter.
