•  Vegetable gardens need fertilizer every three weeks.
•  Sow sunflower and gomphrena (bachelor buttons) seeds.
•   Prune wisteria, climbing roses, mountain laurel, and Carolina jessamine when spring bloom is over.
•   To rejuvenate the lawn and improve the soil, spread and water in one inch of a good mature compost.
