July 12 & 13 – This is an educational program that gives well owners the opportunity to have their well water samples screened for common contaminants. The screening of the water samples is followed by a 1-hour explanation of results the next day, water well protection practices and focuses on wellhead protection and recommendations for remediating well contamination. 2014 Fall Youth Gardens Educator’s Training
The Fall Youth Gardens Educator’s Training is designed for teachers, educators, and volunteers in support of Youth Gardening in the classroom and community and is scheduled for September 6th (Saturday). 2014 Fall Children’s Vegetable Garden
Children ages 8 to 13 interested in learning how to plan a vegetable garden and become a good steward of the environment are encouraged to participate in this fun learning experience. Classes to begin Aug 23 thru Dec 6, every Saturday morning from 8am-12noon. Applications are being taken now at the San Antonio Botanical Garden. Click here.
