District Horse Show

Information: Exhibitor may enter as many classes as they wish.  Partial reimbursement will be available from the 4-H Council budget, after the horse show.  More information to include classes, map,  guidelines, etc. are available here. Texas 4-H Outdoor Challenge

This challenge consists of 10 events (shotgun, gear judging, climbing and more) in which teams of 2 members compete to earn points.  Challenge will be June 22 – 24, 2018 at the Seguin Outdoor Learning Center.  Registration is on 4-H Connect from May 1st – 30th.   Guidelines are  available here.

Youth Agriculture Lifetime Leadership Tour

Information:  The purpose of the tour is to provide youth commercial agriculture opportunities both academically and through career exploration.  4-H members (ages 15 - 18) that have a strong interest in production agriculture will enjoy this tour to various agriculture industries in south Texas.  Application is available here.  For more information see flyer here. July 25-27 (Wednesday, 12 Noon- 5 PM; Thursday, 9 AM - 5 PM, and Friday, 9 AM - Noon)- Come join us for the 2018 Junior Master Gardener (JMG) Adult Leader Training designed for teachers, educators, and volunteers in support of Youth Gardening.  Participants will learn how to establish and sustain a youth garden, how to create a JMG program, receive training in the JMG curriculum, and obtain Continuing Professional Education Hours for the three-day training. The Bexar, Caldwell, and Guadalupe County Extension Offices will host a 2018 Farm Bill Seed Cotton/Base Acres Decision Workshop at the Guadalupe County Office (210 E.
