Youth Leadership Laboratory

Cooperative Extension Program’s 4-H and Youth Development Department invites youth, grades 8th-10th, to participate in college and career awareness activities in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, Math) disciplines and leadership development. YLL is a 3-day/2-night camp to be held July 16th-19th. Summer Bug Camp #2 — Full (Waiting List Available)

Youth camp geared for ages 7 and up.  Campers will collect insects, assemble collection, perform experiments and activities with insects, learn how to identify insects and how they are important and get the chance to see and hold lots of live bugs! Campers receive an insect collection kit (net, forceps, killing jar, pins, spreading boards, magnifier, booklet, pens, collection box, vials, and collecting bag).  Come join us for the fun! Veterinary Science Summer Camp – DUE

Fishing Camp – Open to Non – 4-H’ers

Participants grades 2 - 11  will have the opportunity to learn everything they need to know about fishing in Texas waters, from creating lures to permit laws.  They will get to participate in their favorite events such as challenge course, dances and more.  Mark your calendar for July 24-26 at the 4-H Center in Brownwood.  Cost is $220/youth or $110/adult.  Registration is done at http://texas4hcenter.tamu.edu by June 14th.  Camp is on a first come, first serve basis.  See more information here.
