Youth camp geared for ages 7 and up. Campers will collect insects, assemble collection, perform experiments and activities with insects, learn how to identify insects and how they are important and get the chance to see and hold lots of live bugs! Campers receive an insect collection kit (net, forceps, killing jar, pins, spreading boards, magnifier, booklet, pens, collection box, vials, and collecting bag). Come join us for the fun! This camp scheduled for July 31 – Aug.2 in Canyon, Tx will provide learning opportunities for members (ages 11 – 18) participating in the Vet Science program. Cost is $150. Space is limited. Registration is on 4-H Connect by July 24th. For more information see flyer here.
Participants grades 2 - 11 will have the opportunity to learn everything they need to know about fishing in Texas waters, from creating lures to permit laws. They will get to participate in their favorite events such as challenge course, dances and more. Mark your calendar for July 24-26 at the 4-H Center in Brownwood. Cost is $220/youth or $110/adult.
