A Fall Vegetable Seminar, will be held on Saturday, October 7, 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon, at Fanick’s Garden Center (1025 Holmgreen Road) with David Rodriguez from Texas AgriLife Extension Service showing you how to properly plant, grow and harvest your vegetables; the seminar is free but any donations to the Children's garden is welcomed.

South Region Landowner Series – Session #2

A South Region Landowner Series will be conducted this fall with sessions held in Bexar, Kerr, Atascosa, and Medina counties.  Pesticide CEUs will be offered.  Cost will be $15/class or $30 for the series for individuals and $25/class or $50 for the series for couples.  See the flyer for session details and RSVP information.

Agricultural Chemical Collection Event

Wilson County Precinct #1 Yard 142 FM 536, Floresville, TX, United States

An Agricultural Chemical Collection Event is planned for Friday, October 20, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  Landowners in the counties of Bexar, Wilson, Karnes, and Goliad can bring their old, outdated, unusable ag chemicals to be disposed of -- free of charge -- and in complete confidentiality.  Participants are encouraged to fill out an inventory form to register for the collection.
