Blinn College Livestock Judging Camp – DUE

Adult Training and Managing a Livestock Judging Program – DUE

This special adult workshop has been scheduled with our partners at Blinn College on Friday,  July 15, 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Blinn's agricultural center in Brenham.  Please make plans to attend and, also, share this information with others in your county such as coaches, volunteers and leaders.  There is a $25.00 registration fee that covers all training materials, lunch and other refreshments.  Deadline to register is July 8th.  For more information click here.  

Texas 4-H Dog Show

4-H members from all over the state, ranging in age from 8 to 18 will be competing. All breeds, including mixed, can compete after they have met the minimum requirements. Dog and 4-H member teams can compete in several different classes, such as: obedience, rally, conformation, showmanship, drill team or costume.  Texas 4-H Dog Show will be held July 8th – 10th, in Belton, Texas.

Beginner Shooting Sports Camp

A new camp meant especially for 4-H’ers getting into shooting sports.  This program is designed to safely introduce kids to shooting.  Participants will also get the chance to do their favorite 4-H camp activities such as dances, challenge course and team challenges.  Mark your calendar for Camp 1 - July 11 – 13 or  Camp 2 - July 13 – 15 at the 4-H Center in Brownwood.  Cost is $180/youth or $85/adult. We are now accepting registrations for the 2016 Entomology Summer Camp.  Flier and registration form are available here.  These camps  fill up quickly,  so be sure to get your registration in soon! Entomology Youth Camps

Now accepting registrations!  We always fill up fast with a long waiting list, so be sure to get registered soon. Texas 4-H Congress

Texas 4-H Congress allows 4-H members to experience the law making process first hand by writing, submitting, and then serving as a member of the House of Representatives, the Senate, the Press, or as a Lobbyist.
