A Forage Management Workshop will be held on Thursday, August 30, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, at the Bexar County Extension Office (3355 Cherry Ridge, Suite 208) with Dr. Larry Redmon, State Extension Range Specialist, discussing the topics of selection, establishment, and management. Cost will be $15; RSVP by August 23.

Every 4-H member that will exhibit an animal at any stock show must view the Quality Counts on line course and complete an exam. The on line course will take about 2 hours, please plan ahead and give yourself enough time. You will need to create a profile. Members can access the website here. Please print out a copy of your certificate.

Join us for the 2018 Fall Youth Garden Educator Training on Saturday, September 15, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (check-in 8:30-9:00 a.m.) at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens at 555 Funston Place in San Antonio. This training is designed for teachers, educators, and volunteers in support of youth gardening in the classroom and community! Cost is $20; register online by 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 9.
