Every 4-H member that will exhibit an animal at any stock show must view the Quality Counts on line course and complete an exam. The on line course will take about 2 hours, please plan ahead and give yourself enough time. You will need to create a profile. Members can access the website here. Please print out a copy of your certificate.

Join us for the 2018 Fall Youth Garden Educator Training on Saturday, September 15, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (check-in 8:30-9:00 a.m.) at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens at 555 Funston Place in San Antonio. This training is designed for teachers, educators, and volunteers in support of youth gardening in the classroom and community! Cost is $20; register online by 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 9. No walk-ins will be accepted, so please register early!

Saturday, September 22, from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon, will be a program on Fall and Winter Vegetable Gardening presented by David Rodriguez, Bexar County Extension Agent-Horticulture. South Texas offers vegetable gardeners two great growing seasons each year, and milder fall temperatures bring out the best flavors in home-grown vegetables. The program is FREE. Bring a notebook; David Rodriguez will answer your specific gardening questions.
