Every 4-H member that will exhibit an animal at any stock show must view the Quality Counts on line course and complete an exam. The on line course will take about 2 hours, please plan ahead and give yourself enough time. You will need to create a profile. Members can access the website here. Join us for the 2018 Fall Youth Garden Educator Training on Saturday, September 15, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (check-in 8:30-9:00 a.m.) at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens at 555 Funston Place in San Antonio. Saturday, September 22, from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon, will be a program on Fall and Winter Vegetable Gardening presented by David Rodriguez, Bexar County Extension Agent-Horticulture. South Texas offers vegetable gardeners two great growing seasons each year, and milder fall temperatures bring out the best flavors in home-grown vegetables. The program is FREE. Bring a notebook; David Rodriguez will answer your specific gardening questions.
