Extension Educationin Bexar County

The 4-H Livestock Ambassador Program is for youth ages 14 – 18 that are interested in animal science and animal production.  Application is due by June 2nd and available on the State website at http://tamuag.az1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_0JPBcTafCz8b52J.  Texas 4-H Livestock Ambassador  Short Courses are July 17 – 20 at Texas A&M University. Clubs  have an  opportunity to  apply  for  this  award  by completing the 4-H Honor Club Form.   The form is due our office before Monday, June 5th – 8:00 a.m.   Your club name will be put on the Honor Club plaque in our office.  Reminder, there is a drop slot in the front door to assist you in making deadlines.   Honor Club form is available here.

A Gift of Time award is given to an individual or business who has provided exemplary support to the Bexar County 4-H Program.  More details are available in our Awards & Recognition Handbook (http://bexar-tx.tamu.edu/files/2011/11/Awards-Handbook-2017-FINAL.pdf).  We need your help to identify the individual or business who are deserving of this award.  Submission deadline is  Monday, June 5th – 8:00 a.m. to the 4-H office.    Reminder, there is a drop slot in the front door to assist you in making deadlines.

Put all your photos together and get that scrapbook done.  Scrapbooks are due to our office on or  before Monday, June 5th – 8:00 a.m..  There will be cash awards for 1st - 3rd placings.  Scrapbook guidelines are available here.     NO LATE SCRAPBOOKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Texas 4-H Roundup is scheduled for June 6 -9 in College Station.  If you are planning on attending Texas Roundup, a list of hotels is available here.  Book it early, rooms fill up fast.
