United Way Kids Festival

Volunteers are needed to help promote 4-H and healthy eating and physical activity lifestyles in our community.  Event is Saturday, April 29th at Lockwood Park, from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.  This is a great way to show off your leadership skills and promote 4-H.  More information is available here.

Vet Science Workshop

These workshops are open to all 4-H ages and are a learning series to help youth meet their required learning lessons in the veterinary science project.  Some lessons will be in a classroom, but several lessons will be hands on. Bexar County 4-H Dog Training

The Bexar County Dog Squad is a competitive 4-H dog club that focuses on learning all aspects of dog care and training with the emphasis on competing at the State Dog Show in July. District Fashion Show/Storyboard/Duds To Dazzle Contests

Everyone is welcome to participate at the District Fashion Show contests on Friday, May 5th at the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, 1800 North Llano, Fredericksburg, Tx. 78624.  Map, eligibility form and schedule for District show is available here. Parents, legal guardians, and/or chaperones attending this event will be responsible for youth and must remain on-site through the duration of the District Fashion Show.

Texas 4-H Dog Show – DUE

Dog show will be held on July 7-9 in Belton, Texas.  The dog show is open to all  4-H members who have validated their dog on 4-H CONNECT.  The Dog Show and Project is a great way for any 4-H member having a dog at home to participate in a 4-H project and gain skills in responsibility, caring, and leadership to name a few.  For more information on the dog show and the project click HERE.  Deadline to register is May 8th.

District Horse Show – DUE

Sleeping Mats for the Homeless

Texas 4-H Outdoor Challenge – DUE
