4-H Ambassadors are a special group of selected youth (ages 12 -18) who represent and promote the Bexar County 4-H program and Texas 4-H programs at various local/regional events. Ambassadors are role models for other youth. They are respectful, polite and helpful with other 4-H members, adult leaders, and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension staff. Ambassadors are teachers. They will have the opportunity to assist in educating youth and adults about the 4-H program. The Bexar County 4-H Ambassador program strives to promote 4-H and encourages youth to become actively involved in their communities. The Bexar County 4-H Ambassadors volunteer their time and have the opportunity to enhance their advocacy and leadership skills.
