The Adopt a School Program was developed for schools/agencies that needed a little extra help and Bexar County Master Gardeners that wanted to dedicate more than one day of their time in a youth garden. Several schools of Bexar County have been fortunate enough to receive these volunteers and have flourished because of these dedicated individuals. Through Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, the Bexar County Master Gardeners take advanced horticulture, agriculture, and entomology lessons throughout the year. They are special individuals who want to share the love of gardening to community.
