•  Rake live oak leaves and compost them for future gardening.
•  Before making new flowerbeds, kill all the grass.  Use products containing glyphosate.  Fusilade is specific for killing Bermuda grass.
•  Spray pecan trees with zinc to prevent rosette and provide a healthy canopy to the tree
•   Prune spring flowering shrubs and trees after they bloom.
