Complete all transplanting of trees and shrubs. Water efficiently until roots have had time for establishment.

Double shred fallen oak leaves and utilize excess amounts in the compost pile or vegetable garden path ways.

Keep persistent lawn weeds in check by mowing to prevent reseeding. Or simply pull them out.
