Prolong the life of holiday-season gift plants by not allowing the soil to dry and insuring drainage.

Don’t forget tulip and hyacinth bulbs in the refrigerator. Plant so long as they have received 6-8 weeks of chilling.

Good time to plant trees and shrubs.
