February 9 (Saturday), 10:45 a.m. – 12:00 noon, will be a FREE program on “Spring Clean Up & Landscape to Dos” at The Garden Center (10682 Bandera Road, San Antonio).  Get you lawn and gardens ready for spring!  

2019 Brown Bag Lunch & Learn

Join us for the 2019 Brown Bag Lunch & Learn program to be conducted the 2nd Friday of each month, 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m., at the Bexar County Extension Office (3355 Cherry Ridge, Suite 208).  The sessions will provide horticulture information on consumer horticulture.  Sessions are FREE and no RSVP is required.

Fall Vegetable Seminar

October 6 (Saturday) will be a Fall Vegetable Seminar, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon, at Fanick’s Garden Center and Nursery (1025 Holmgreen Road, San Antonio).  David Rodriguez, County Extension Agent-Horticulture, will show you how to properly plant, grow, and harvest your vegetables. David has a ton of experience in gardening and would love to share his knowledge and passion of vegetables with you.  This seminar is FREE.

Growing Edibles in Your Landscape

August 18 (Saturday) – Learn how to grow a home vegetable garden or fruit trees by attending the Growing Edibles in Your Landscape program at Blue Star Brewing Company & Restaurant (1414 S. Alamo Street, Ste. 105).  The program will be from 10:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and is FREE!
