Brush Country Beef 706 Program
May 3 (Thursday) – will be session one of the Brush Country Beef 706 Program. This 3-part series will focus on beef quality management and marketing opportunities for producers. The May 3 session will be held at the Live Oak Livestock Market Auction (3795 U.S. 281) in Three Rivers, Texas. Other sessions will be held on October 20 and October 29-30 (see flyer for details). Cost of the program is $50/participant for all three sessions.
All Breeds Bull & Heifer Sale Education Program
The All Breeds Bull & Heifer Sale Education Program will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the San Antonio Livestock Exposition Auction Barn (3201 E. Houston, San Antonio). Topics include ELD Mandate/Agricultural Hauling Requirements, Cattle Fever Ticks and Control Efforts, and Domestic & International Beef Market Update; this is a FREE program and no RSVP is required.
Bexar County Beef Cattle Short Course – Part 2
The Bexar County Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee is pleased to announce that part two of the 2018 Bexar County Beef Cattle Short Course has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Palo Alto College (Legacy Room, Ozuna Library). Registration will begin at 6:00 p.m. each day with the program to follow at 6:30.
