Beekeeping Basics Program

If you have an interest in beekeeping and/or learning how to tart your own bee hives, the Beekeeping Basics Program is for you!  The program includes a classroom program on Friday, November 2, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., in the Extension Conference Room at the Bexar County Office of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (3355 Cherry Ridge, Suite 208).  The program will also include a Field Day for class participants on Saturday, November 3, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon (depending on the weather), in a beekeeper’s yard… Read More →

Second Steps in Beekeeping

September 28 (Friday) will be Second Steps in Beekeeping, 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., at Rudy’s BBQ Doc Holiday Banquet Room (location subject to change) in Leon Springs (24059 Old Fredericksburg Road).  This class is for those who have already attended the Beekeeping Basics program and are ready for some more in-depth information.  Cost is $40 (includes lunch) and online registration is required.
