Sow ‘Greyhound’ rye grass seed at a rate of one pound per 100 square feet only on an unstressed turfgrass for that green appearance throughout winter.

Add spinach transplants to your fall/winter garden.

November and December are the ideal months to plant trees and shrubs. Make certain your final choices are from the list of recommended trees and shrubs for this area.

Examine tender pot plants that will be going indoors for insects. Spray with horticultural oil, Neem oil or a registered insecticide.
