• Prune old blooms off of roses to restore the shape and increase future blooms on ever-bloomers.
• Be on the lookout for pecan nut casebearers in pecan trees. Spray with a registered insecticide, if needed.
• Fertilize all container plants with a balanced fertilizer such as
  20-20-20.
• Check zinnias, euonymus and crape myrtles for powdery mildew. Apply a registered fungicide or an organic control such as need oil.
