• Recent rains save us from any lawn watering this week.
• Prune fruit trees.
• Apply pre-emergent herbicides to prevent crab grass, sand burs and other summer weeds.
• Plant broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and asparagus.
• Goldfinches begin to grow yellow summer plumage – remember to attract goldfinches to feeders with thistle seeds.
