Provide continuous plant nutrition for your seasonal cool weather plants like pansies and cyclamen on a weekly basis with a water soluble fertilizer. In return, they will reward you with spectacular blooms throughout winter.

If you’re planning to put up a fresh cut tree for the holiday season, it might be a good idea to see what size tree stand you have and in what condition it is.

Having some extra water and bird feed, is a nice way to take care of are feathery friends going into the dormant season.

Be ready to move the cold sensitive tropical plants such as bougainvilleas, hibiscus, plumeria, purple fountain grass, citrus, mandevilla and other tender plants into the greenhouse or garage at the first cold weather. Plan for ventilation as it can get pretty warm in San Antonio in November.
