Lawns don’t waste water, people do! Make sure that your irrigation system is running efficiently and is audited often.

Raise the blade on your mulching mower to three inches or more if you have St. Augustine and Bermuda to two inches. Always, keep the mower blade sharp. Never remove no more then 1/3 of the grass canopy at any given mowing.

Peaches, plums, blackberries, citrus, and pecans with developing fruit must receive regular moisture (about one inch a week) or the fruit will not develop appropriately and may be dropped. Figs are especially sensitive to dry soil.
