Spring Children’s Vegetable Garden Program
Texas A&M AgriLIFE Extension Service, David Rodriguez, County Extension Agent-Horticulturist, and San Antonio Botanical Garden are now accepting applications for the Spring 2014 Children’s Vegetable Garden beginning Feb 22, 2014. Registration is $50, applications are now being accepted by the San Antonio Botanical Garden. Click here for application information. Master Gardener Intern Training – Class 58
The Master Gardener program provides invaluable training and educational opportunities. Individuals can advance their gardening expertise, plus gain self-satisfaction through volunteer efforts. The volunteer aspect of the Master Gardener program allows individuals to dedicate their time and talents to enhancing the quality of life for citizens of their community using the science and art of horticulture. Children’s Vegetable Garden: Fall 2013
The San Antonio Botanical Garden, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Bexar County Master Gardeners oversee the children’s vegetable garden program in which youngsters learn hands-on techniques of local vegetable gardening with emphasis’ on environmental stewardship and organics.
