David Rodriguez from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension service will share his knowledge this Saturday on lawns and landscapes by talking about selecting the right plants for the summer and how to maintain them. The focus will be on Texas Superstar plants, the use of compost, fertilizers, irrigation and their general care to beat the summer heat. Please arrive early for best seating and dress for the weather as this will be held outside under a covered building.

The Bexar Ag/NR Committee will be hosting a Farm Pond Management program Tuesday, May 21st from 10-12 noon at the Bexar County Extension Office Suite 208.  One hour of IPM CEU will be offered.  Brittany Chesser, Aquatic Vegetation Management Program Specialist will discuss Managing Invasive Weeds and Basic Stocking Considerations.  Cost will be $15/person.  Please contact Kennedy at 210-631-0400 or kennedy.green@ag.tamu.edu to sign up.
