Swine validation for State Fair of Texas (Dallas) will be conducted in June, dates will be announced soon. Cost will be $11.00 per head for tags. Order form is available here.  Order form and tag fees are due to our office by Thursday, April 21st, Bexar County 4-H, 3355 Cherry Ridge Dr. S-212, San Antonio, Texas  78230.  Make checks payable to Bexar 4-H Fund.

The shoot is scheduled for Saturday, April 30th at the Callahan County Shooting Range in Baird, Texas.  Deadline to register is April 22nd.  For entry form, map and more information click here.

District 10 Livestock Judging is scheduled for April 23, 2016 at the Gillespie County Fair Grounds in Fredericksburg.

Recordbooks are a great way to keep track of what you have done in 4-H.  When you decide to do a recordbook, pick one category  you want to complete your recordbook in.   If vet science was your strongest project this year, you would select the Vet. District 10 Roundup Contest is scheduled for April 30, 2016 at Lockhart Junior High School in Lockhart.

This event has been developed in order to encourage young people to develop leadership skills and to exercise their abilities in working with younger members in roping activities in 4-H.  This event will be June 19 – 23 in Stephenville, Texas at the Tarleton State University Challenge Arena.  Cost is $425 which includes meals, lodging and insurance.  Registration is on a first come, first serve basis before May 1st.  For more information please click here.

Texas 4-H Roundup will showcase three 4-H members or groups of 4-H members each day for the singing of the National Anthem during the General Assemblies.  All submissions must be posted to YouTube by Monday, May 2nd.  More information and guidelines are  available here.
