November 24 & 25, 2017 in Seguin, Texas. Youth may enter the Friday evening single show and/or Saturday’s double show. These shows will draw many breeders from across the state that will have rabbits for sale. This is an opportunity for 4-H youth to experience the thrill of exhibiting rabbits beyond local County Show. If you are 13 and older, you may be interested in becoming a School Tour Guide. Guides will tour small children around the stock show grounds during the San Antonio Stock Show in February 2018. Please Do Not sign up on a day that you will be exhibiting or competing in a contest. You will NOT be allowed to switch dates without a valued excuse. Haven Homeschool 4-H Club is open for enrollment. They meet at 13222 Bandera Road, Helotes Texas 78023 on the 2nd & 4th Friday of each month from 12 noon -3:00 pm. Their main projects are: Theater Arts, Food & Nutrition, Entrepreneurship and Robotics. The Food Handlers Permit Class is a basic overview of food safety practices that are necessary to ensure you serve safe food at your establishment. The Texas Department of State Health Services accredited food handlers program is now being offered at the Bexar County Office of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Cost is $20, and the permit is good for two (2) years! See flyer for details.
