Are you 13 years or older and interested in running for a County 4-H Council officer position for this upcoming 2015-2016 4-H year? Officers will be elected from nominations made from the floor. This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your leadership experiences so that others can take notice. Please submit a short paragraph consisting of no more than 8 lines (12 pt. font) including what position you are running for, why you would like to run for office and what qualifies you to serve on the County Council. Please submit your paragraph to Pam (paxtell@ag.tamu.edu) no later than Wednesday, April 22nd.
Positions available: President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, 1st Council Delegate, 2nd Delegate, Alternate Delegate #1 (Health & Safety), Alternate Delegate #2 (Social), Alternate Delegate #3 (Community Service), Parliamentarian, Reporter.
Elections will be held at the next County Council Meeting, Thursday, May 21st, 7:00 p.m. Election shall be by ballot. A majority constitutes an election. No more than two members from any one club shall be elected to a Council office the same year. No more than one person from a family may serve as an officer at the same time.
