If you are a Master Wellness Volunteer or are interested in the Master Wellness Volunteer Program, please join us for a Meet & Greet event at the Bexar County Office of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (3355 Cherry Ridge, Suite 208) on Friday, May 27, starting at 2:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Training to obtain a Private Applicator License from Texas Dept of Agriculture. This will enable the purchase and apply limited use and federally restricted chemicals on the land that you control.
Topics include: selection, feeding, showmanship and more. Camp is June 5th – 7th at the Howard College in Big Spring, Tx. Cost is $85 which includes meals and awards. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. See flyer here for more information

This training is open to any adult volunteers that would like to start a 4-H club. All 4-H clubs are invited to attend this training on Tuesday, June 21st , 6:30 p.m. at the County Extension office (3355 Cherry Ridge Dr.) in S-208. All charter paperwork will be provided to start the new 4-H year. Club charters will be due to our office by July 8th.

We will perform experiments and activities with insects, get to hold tarantulas, roaches, millipedes and more. Campers will also collect insects and put together an insect collection. The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will be closed in observance of the July 4th holiday.
This special adult workshop has been scheduled with our partners at Blinn College on Friday, July 15, 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Blinn's agricultural center in Brenham. Please make plans to attend and, also, share this information with others in your county such as coaches, volunteers and leaders. 4-H members from all over the state, ranging in age from 8 to 18 will be competing. All breeds, including mixed, can compete after they have met the minimum requirements. Dog and 4-H member teams can compete in several different classes, such as: obedience, rally, conformation, showmanship, drill team or costume. Texas 4-H Dog Show will be held July 8th – 10th, in Belton, Texas.
