This special adult workshop has been scheduled with our partners at Blinn College on Friday, July 15, 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Blinn's agricultural center in Brenham. Please make plans to attend and, also, share this information with others in your county such as coaches, volunteers and leaders. There is a $25.00 registration fee that covers all training materials, lunch and other refreshments. Deadline to register is July 8th. For more information click here.
4-H members from all over the state, ranging in age from 8 to 18 will be competing. All breeds, including mixed, can compete after they have met the minimum requirements. Dog and 4-H member teams can compete in several different classes, such as: obedience, rally, conformation, showmanship, drill team or costume. Texas 4-H Dog Show will be held July 8th – 10th, in Belton, Texas.

We will perform experiments and activities with insects, get to hold tarantulas, roaches, millipedes and more. Campers will also collect insects and put together an insect collection. Texas 4-H Congress allows 4-H members to experience the law making process first hand by writing, submitting, and then serving as a member of the House of Representatives, the Senate, the Press, or as a Lobbyist.
